For the first tutorial, i am going to show you how to run Backtrack OS on VM Ware.
1. You have to download the VM Ware Workstation and Backtrack (iso file) or Backtrack Bootable Disc.
2. After you have all these thing, you have to install the VM Ware. Then follow the nexk step.
3. Click New Virtual VM Ware
4. It will show like this
5. Click next untill see this box:
Tick the Linux then Choose the Other Linux 2.6.x Kernel
6. Rename it as Backtrack
7. Click Next until see this page:
8. Now, Click Edit Virtual Machine Settings:
Pull the trigger to the blues pin (to add the rame values - 256 => 1000)
9. Now, remove the Floppy Device at the setting box:
10. Click CD-ROM (IDE 1:0) device:
Then tick to the "Use ISO image:" and browse your Backtrack.iso file. If you re using Bootable Disc, just tick to the Use Physical Drive and Auto Detect setting.
